GAVE HIS LIFE: 17/06/1942. AGED: 26.

Arthur was the son of Stephen Thompson and Ruth Smith Born Newton Kyme Tadcaster 1888 they married in December 1908.

WILLIAM THOMPSON.

There are so many William Thompsons on record as giving their lives it is not at this time possible to place a certain record to this man.

However in 1908 a William Thompson was born in Tadcaster and in July 1943 a Gunner Willliam Thompson Royal Artillery Service Number 1735996 aged 35 gave his life in Thailand,

could this be him.

Arthur Thompson was also in the Royal Artillery.

Kenneth crashed two miles north of Church Fenton.
