After lots of requests by personal e mail i have now added World War Two details of men for each town and village to support the WW1 main site.
These pages can be found at the end of the WW1 pages.
Also i have decided to place a Nine Mile limit of Towns and Villages around Tadcaster to research.
As a result this will include Wetherby which is a huge task to research and hopefully will be online by the end of July 2008.

A trip was made to France and Belgium in July 2006 and as a result many photographs (at least 50) of the mens final resting place were taken.
This trip was a whirlwind tour. Ibased myself in Arras driving across to Valenciennes down to Landracies towards St Quinten and back to Arras.
A stay in Poperinge Belgium was taken for two nights and i drove from Arras past Vimy ridge up to Loos finally visiting Cemeteries around Ypres and the region.
On Saturday July 1st rather than hit the masses in the Somme for the 90th Anniversery of the battle i headed towards Boulogne taking in Cemeterys in that area including the impressive Etaples cemetery outside Le Touquet.
Trying not to get tempted and join the thousends of England fans on the other side of the motorway heading for the world cup quarter final game in Germany against Portugal.
I arrived at Le treport and finally headed for my final nights stay in france in Rouen and visited the huge Cemetery at St Sever.
Another trip to France and Belgium is booked for September this year so hopefully more photos will be made available.
