Vincent was the son of George Mark Born Loughborough Lincolnshire in 1871 and Mary Ella Wilson an ellementary school teacher Born Tadcaster 1864.
Mary was the daughter of John Born Tadcaster 1849 they married at Tadcaster in 1894, Vincent was born at Stutton in 1896.
Sadly Mary Ellen passed away in 1897, and George remarried in late 1897 to Annie Phillips Born Leigh Worcestershire in 1869, they had one daughter Annie Born Stutton in 1899.

Fred was the son of Henry Born Kelfield Yorkshire in 1856, and Elizabeth also Born Kelfield in 1843.
Fred had younger brothers William Born 1891, *Ernest Born 1893, and Henry Born 1898 all at Wetherby.
(*Ernest gave his life on the 1st July 1916 at the Battle for Albert (Somme) fighting with the 1/5 West Yorkshire Regiment Service Number 1490, he is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial to the missing on Pier and Face 2A 2C and 2D)
Fred was actually attached to the 22nd Company Labour Corps when he lost his life having the service number 13081.
Fred fell near the Ypres Comines Canal and was origanilly layed to rest 200 metres north of the canal along with 18 other men from Britain and Australia and two German prisoners at the Lock 8 Cemetery Voormezeele.
Fred was moved to his present resting place when all outlying cemeterys were brought in from the battlefields.

YORKSHIRE HERALD 1916.
"Private John Weaver a married man aged 37, residing at Castleford joined immediatly at the outbreak of war, and was in the Durham Light Infantry.
He lost his wife whilst in the trenches, and was himself killed at Hooge on August 9th 1915.
The remaining son Walter recently joined the West Yorkshires."

RIFELMAN THOMAS WEAVER.

GAVE HIS LIFE: 04/09/1916. AGED: 23.

Thomas was the youngest son of Abraham and Mary, who had a fruit shop in Bridge Street Tadcaster.
Thomas was mentioned in the following newspaper article, detailing the brothers service careers.
YORKSHIRE HERALD 1916
"Private Thomas Weaver was the youngest of the sons, he was a brewery worker (John Smiths) and joined the Kings Royal Rifles Seven years ago, at the outbreak of war he was stationed in India.
He was transferred to France, and afterwards to Macedonia, he suffered from Malaria at each of the three places and succombed to an attack on board ship on the 4th September last.
He was a single man and was only 24."
YORKSHIRE HERALD OCTOBER 1916
Mr and Mrs A.Weaver of Bridge Street Tadcaster have been notified that their youngest Son Lance Corporal Thomas Weaver has died from Malarias fever and has been buried at Salonika.
He had served in the Army for Seven Years.
His eldest brother John William was Killed whilst serving with the Durham Light Infantry in August 1915.
Another member of the family James Henry has been interned in Holland with the Navy men who entered that country in retretment from Antwerp.
James Henry was interned in Groningan Holland with the Benbow Battalion and was a fleet reservist when war broke out. He had a wife and child that lived on Wighill Lane Tadcaster.
(More than 3 in 1 men died in Salonika from Malaria or the Influenza Flu that swept that region the forgotten war zone which took as many lives as the western Front.)
