This site currently publishes no sponsored articles. If a paid placement is ever accepted, it will be labelled in the page title area, disclosed in the body and recorded in the local placement inventory used during quality assurance.
Sponsored material will not be presented as archival evidence, and editorial articles will not be changed to serve a campaign. Links will be qualified where appropriate and destinations will be checked before publication.
The separation applies to the surrounding presentation as well as the article text. A paid note may have a different brief and a different destination, but it will not borrow the voice, evidence or source claims of the local history routes.

A reader should be able to tell what is editorial, what is paid and who is responsible for each claim.
